A lot has happened recently. We have moved the farm to Kentucky! Business is going well at my day job and it is my favorite season of the year. Recently I was chosen to receive, review, and share Truvia sweetener by Crowdtap and Truvia. We had a SweetSwitch party and even got my father-in-law to convert. The product is great. It tastes very natural and more like cane sugar. I found I had to use a little more of it than regular sugar but not too bad. The only downfall that I found with this product is the price. The price would make it hard to make a full switch from sugar to Truvia, but it is great for morning tea and coffee.

The Swing of Spring
Spring is in full swing here. The garden is being finished this weekend. The container gardens are already sprouting. The daisies and iris are in full bloom. The chicks are big enough to move outside to their Chicken Tractor that hubby is finishing today. Will post pictures later. The horses have completely shed their winter coats and a beautifully sleek and shine in the sun as they graze this morning. I have even found time to work on some new recipes which I will post this evening. Off to enjoy the beautiful Missouri weather!

Week 1
This week we have finally gotten all of our chicks. We have 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Brown Leghorns, 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes, and 2 Ameraucanas. They are growing fast. We look forward to the eggs and companionship of these great hens. We are also finishing putting in the garden. I will update soon on what the official garden inventory is.
